Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Vaishali Nagar Vidhansabha of Durg district today during his meet-meet campaign. Here he inaugurated 04 Mobile Medical Units under Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme. With this, the people living in the slums of the urban area will get health check-up easily. 5 more lab tests have been added to the Mobile Medical Unit. These include Sickling Test, Widal Test, Blood Group Test, UPT Pregnancy Test and Malaria Test, this will further expand the medical facilities of common citizens.
With the mobile medical unit started on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, poor families of municipal corporation areas no longer have to wander for health check-up. Access to the medical unit near their home and free treatment and check-up in it has brought great relief to the people of slum areas. Shobha Devi, who reached the meeting program, told Chief Minister Mr. Baghel about the medical mobile unit that the vehicle of the medical unit is installed near the Teen Devi temple. She always gets treatment from the Medical Mobile Unit, which does not cost a single penny.
It may be noted that in Chhattisgarh, poor families living in slums of urban areas are being provided free treatment facility through mobile medical units. Free health facilities are being provided through a total of 13 mobile medical units in Durg district. 6 lakh 88 thousand 258 people have been benefited by organizing 8 thousand 335 camps in the entire district.
