Raipur: Meeting regarding preparation of master plan for systematic and well-planned development of cities concluded

According to the intention of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the state government has given instructions to the departmental officers to prepare the master plan of the cities of the state on priority basis, so that a new dimension can be given to the systematic and well-planned development of all the urban bodies and newly formed districts of the state. Can be given     
    In this context, the master plan of the important cities of the state is being prepared by the directorate, town and village investment in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Indravati Bhawan through state-of-the-art techniques, in which on the basis of the need of the city and to provide facilities to the general public. From the point of view, importance has been given to orderly development by making provision in the master plan for the purpose of entertainment, road, parking, commercial activities, industrial, residential etc.
    Similarly, the master plan of about 56 important cities of the state has been prepared by the Town and Country Planning Department on the basis of GIS, which is also available on the basis of adoption in the departmental website of the department for public viewing. The work of preparing the master plan is being done in a planned manner by setting the annual target by the department.
    In this perspective, a meeting of departmental officers was organized under the chairmanship of Special Secretary, Housing and Environment Mr. Janak Prasad Pathak, with a view to have a detailed discussion and to provide better facilities to the general public in the master plan. During this, discussions were held regarding the master plan to benefit maximum public and to take the city towards planned development. In the meeting, Joint Secretary of the department Mr. Jitendra Shukla, Director Mr. J.P. Maurya, Deputy Secretaries Mr. Rahul Venkat and Mr. C. Tirkey and district officers of various districts of town and rural investment participated.
