Strengthening of health services and discussion on the action plan for the year 2023-24 with ‘Health for All’

Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education, Shri Prasanna R. Today took a meeting of international and national organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in association with the department in various health programmes. He discussed in detail the strengthening of health services and providing treatment to maximum number of people through government hospitals in the meeting held at Swasthya Bhawan in Nava Raipur. He reviewed the work being done in the health sector with the participation of cooperative organizations and gave instructions to make them more effective. He instructed all the institutions to provide quality services to the people. Mr. Uraya Nag of WHO gave information about various dimensions of ‘Health for All’ through power point presentation.
Mr. Prasanna appreciated the services being provided by the health department’s associate organizations and NGOs in the state. He told the representatives of various organizations involved in the meeting that if there is any deficiency in providing health services to the people at the ground level, then they should inform the department about it, so that by removing the shortcomings, better health facilities can be provided to the citizens.
