Chief Minister participated in the program of Lord Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav Samiti

Even in this age of convenience of charter plane, Jain saints leave the traditional means and walk on foot. This is the path of non-violence and non-violence shown by Mahavir Swami. Mahavir Swami’s path of renunciation is praiseworthy. If the world follows the path of Lord Mahavir, there will be peace everywhere. Non-violence is the weapon of the strong and the wise. Man is rational and thinks, that is why a rational person does not adopt the path of violence. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said this while addressing the program organized by Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav Samiti in Old Ganj Mandi premises of Durg today.
The Chief Minister said that today Mahavir Jayanti is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. If you do not agree with something, you are angry, then you have to think and find the right solution. This pluralism is the idea of Lord Mahavir Swami. Truth can be in many forms, we have to respect everyone’s views. The Chief Minister said that Lord Mahavir used to say that do not commit mental violence. Be on your best behavior.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister shared the events related to the life of Lord Mahavir and his discussion with the disciples with the people. The Chief Minister said that Mahavir Swami had a sense of non-violence with the living beings, he also had deep feelings for saving the nature.
MLA Mr. Arun Vora, Mayor Mr. Dheeraj Bakliwal also gave their address on this occasion. Mr. Rajendra Sahu, President of District Cooperative Bank, Vice President of State Backward Classes Commission, Mr. R.N. Verma, former MLA Smt.
