Amit Jogi tweeted and said – My mother’s health is bad, politics cannot be bigger than life
Raipur 02 April 2023 The Jogi family can stay away from the elections in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections. Amit Jogi himself has indicated this. Janata Congress Chhattisgarh President Amit Jogi, citing the health of his mother Renu Jogi, has said to stay away from electoral politics for the time being.
Posting on social media, Amit Jogi wrote that elections are left, people are asking that the Janata Congress is not doing anything. Politics can never be bigger than life. After losing my father late Ajit Jogi, my mother’s health is more important than power for me. I will be with her like a shadow till she is fully recovered. It is my misfortune that I could not be with my father in his last moments. I can’t repeat this mistake with my mother, so my first aim is for my mother to be healthy. The rest is too old to do politics.
question on caste
In fact, the administration has canceled the caste claims of both Amit Jogi and his wife Richa Jogi. Amit Jogi had told himself of Kanwar caste, it has been canceled and a case has been registered against Amit Jogi’s wife for making a fake certificate of Gond caste. This was the reason why the Jogi family was voted out in the Marwahi by-election last time. Marwahi was the safest seat of the Jogi family. The first Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Ajit Jogi used to get elected from here. When the by-elections were held after his death, the administration even canceled the nominations of Amit Jogi and Richa Jogi from this seat, saying that caste was fake. For the first time in the history of Chhattisgarh, the Jogi family was ousted from the Marwahi seat in such a way that only after that speculations were started. Now the political journey of the Jogi family is in trouble.
The inquiry committee probing Amit Jogi’s caste said that a notice was sent to Amit Jogi. It was also argued that Ajit Jogi was not considered a Kanwar. Now the caste of the son is decided by the caste of the father. In such a situation, Amit Jogi cannot be considered as Kanwar. The caste certificate of Ajit Jogi was also canceled by the committee. The matter was pending in the court, at the same time Ajit Jogi passed away.
An FIR has been registered against Richa Jogi, wife of Chhattisgarh Janata Congress President Amit Jogi, at Mungeli police station. There is an allegation against Richa Jogi that she got caste certificate made stating that she belongs to Gond caste, which was wrong. The State Level Certification Scrutiny Committee Scheduled Caste Development had given orders to the collector to take action in this regard.
