Farmers of Kondagaon expressed happiness over Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement to purchase 20 quintals of paddy per acre on the support price from registered farmers of the state during the budget session, and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel including the state government expressed gratitude towards. Farmer Ghasia Sori, resident of village Farsgaon Beda of Kondagaon development block, thanked Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and said that he has benefited from the farmer-friendly policies of the state government. He has also got the benefit of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. They are doing advanced farming with full hard work and dedication.
Similarly, Bhiragaon resident farmer Bhagat Singh Netam and Kukadgarkapal’s farmer Budhnath Bhandari are earning income by producing paddy in Kharif season and maize and vegetables in Rabi season in their family’s ancestral agricultural land. These farmers praised the purchase of kodo, kutki and ragi at the support price and earning at the support price under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana of the state government. These farmers thanked Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for announcing the purchase of paddy from 15 quintals per acre to 20 quintals under paddy procurement on support price, saying that this is a positive initiative of the state government in the interest of the farmers. . With the increase in paddy purchase per acre, now farmers will be able to sell their remaining paddy at the support price. Will get relief from the worry of selling the remaining paddy to middlemen at throwaway prices.
