Director of Health Services Shri Bhim Singh inaugurated the campaign

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, many activities are being conducted across the state to make people aware about TB disease. Several campaigns are being run by the health department and the associate organizations of the TB eradication programme. In this series, the Director of Health Services Mr. Bhim Singh inaugurated the signature campaign at Swasthya Bhawan, Nava Raipur today. He signed the board by taking an oath to end TB disease and make Chhattisgarh TB free. He appealed to all to unite and join the fight against this global disease and cooperate in its eradication.
State Tuberculosis Officer Dr. Dharmendra Gahwai said that till April 13, a campaign is being run in the entire state through different activities to make people aware of TB. Various programs related to TB awareness are being organized in all the districts. These include activities like oath taking, miking, street plays, rallies and distribution of free nutritious food to TB patients.
