Janjgir Special Judge has rejected the anticipatory bail plea. Special Judge KR Ringari has canceled the bail plea.

Let us tell you that a crime has been registered against Palash Chandel, son of Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel, on the complaint of physical exploitation in the women’s police station of Raipur. The victim is a resident of Janjgir Champa district. It has also come to light that there was a contact between Palash and the victim through Facebook. According to the victim, after 2018, there was a good friendship between the two. After this, Palash made a continuous relationship with the victim on the pretext of marriage. When the woman became pregnant in 2021, she was given abortion medicine. After this, the tussle between the two increased and now the victim lodged a complaint against Palash. On January 19, the victim lodged a case of rape against Palash Chandel at the women’s police station in Raipur. The accused is absconding since the registration of the FIR. The accused has filed a writ petition in the High Court demanding quashing of the FIR against him. The matter will be heard on February 10.
