Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for receiving the installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana at the Bharose Sammelan held today at Sargaon in Mungeli district, the farmers termed the scheme as a scheme to give strength to the farmers. Farmers Mr. Santosh Dhritalhare, Mr. Daduram Sahu and other farmers said in one voice that they have got strength after getting the installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is the Chief Minister. He understands the pain of the farmers. The Government of Chhattisgarh is continuously making efforts for the betterment of the farmers. Welcoming the decision to increase the quantity of paddy purchased from 15 quintals to 20 quintals on the support price, everyone said that now there will be no compulsion to sell the extra paddy at throwaway prices.
Mr. Santosh Dhritalhare, a resident of Umaria village of Pathariya block, has 22 acres of agricultural land. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, he has received Rs 2 lakh 28 thousand 417 in 4 installments. They live in joint family. He told that this amount is spent in agriculture for good production. This scheme has proved to be a boon for us. This amount has also helped in the marriage of children. Similarly, Mr. Daduram, a farmer from Lohda told that he does farming in 20 acres. He has received one lakh 68 thousand rupees including the fourth installment in this scheme. He told that this has given me an opportunity to become financially strong. We do not have to depend on moneylenders for farming. We have got freedom from paying unnecessary interest. We are also able to fulfill other needs with the amount received from the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
