Delegation of State Child Welfare Council met

A delegation led by Vice President of Chhattisgarh State Planning Child Welfare Council, Mr. Chandresh Shah paid a courtesy visit to Governor Mr. Vishwabhushan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan today and informed about the objectives and functions of the Child Development Council. The Governor appreciated the work being done by the Child Welfare Council. He also asked to continue working for the welfare of children as children are the future of the country. The Secretary of the Child Welfare Council said that the Speech Therapy Center has been operating in Raipur for two years, where deaf and mute children are treated at a low fee. Apart from this, 4 children’s homes are operated by the council, which includes 2 girls’ and 2 boys’ homes.
On this occasion Dr. Ashok Tripathi, Mrs. Indira Jain, Mr. Prakash Aggarwal, Mr. Rajendra Nigam, Mrs. Prabha Sendre, Mrs. Sangeeta Jaggi, Mrs. Shweta Singh, Mrs. Mani Sharma, Mrs. Pooja Misalwar were also present.
