The farmers of Gariaband expressed happiness, thanked the Chief Minister

The farmers of Gariaband district have expressed happiness over Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement to purchase 20 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers of the state at the support price in the upcoming Kharif season. Reacting to the farmers, they have called it a historic step. Farmers believe that the income of the farmers will increase if farming becomes profitable.
Farmers of Gariaband district say that with this historic decision, farmers will get an opportunity to sell paddy in large quantity, this will increase the income of the farmers. Mr. Bhavsingh Sahu, Dhaluram, Baldau Sahu, a farmer of Teka village, said that he has 6 acres of land in which he does farming. Earlier he used to sell 90 quintals of paddy, now he will sell 120 quintals of paddy.
Mahesh Sahu, a farmer of Borid village, said that with this decision of the Chief Minister, the worry of selling paddy has now gone away. He told that he does farming in 10 acres. In this context, now 200 quintals of paddy will be able to be sold at the support price. This decision of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will prove to be a milestone for the farmers. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the farmers. Farmers Ghanshyam Sahu of Roba village, Prakashchandra Sahu of Shyamnagar, Seukram Dhruv of Kosamkhuta, Chintaram Dhruv of Lachkera, Budhram Kosre of Jamgaon, Dauva Tarak of Arand, Makhanlal Dhruv of Borid and Lakshmi Barle have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.
