The department has received the highest revenue since the formation of the state.

In the financial year 2022-23, against the revenue target of Rs 500 crore set by the government, a revenue amount of about Rs 800 crore was received by the Forest Department, which is 160 percent more than the target. This important achievement has been achieved due to the efficient working of the department.
According to the information received from the department, T.P. Showing readiness in the case of fee recovery, an amount of Rs 253 crore has been collected and deposited in the revenue of the government. There is a provision for harvesting as per the provision of work plan approved by the Government of India. In the year 2022-23, after getting a total of 22 work plans approved in existing forest divisions and working scheme of 01 forest division, the exploitation work was started after obtaining approval for exploitation in these forest divisions within the stipulated time period. Revenue increased from the auction of forest produce obtained from exploitation on the scheduled dates.
Similarly, by amending the Chhattisgarh Transport (Forest Produce) Rules 2001 by the department, an additional revenue amount of about Rs 150 crore has been obtained by increasing the mineral transport fee. An additional revenue of Rs 2.57 crore has been received by cutting and conducting e-auction of pine species planted earlier in the Bastar forest division.
The department had received a total revenue of 346 crores in the financial year 2021-22, while a total revenue of 800 crores has been received in the financial year 2022-23, which is 160 percent more than the revenue target of 500 crores set for the financial year 2022-23. Is.
After the formation of the state of Chhattisgarh, if we look at the figures of revenue receipt, maximum revenue has been received in the financial year 2022-23. Of these, a revenue of Rs 49.56 crore was received year-wise in 2000-01. In the year 2017-18, Rs 283 crore and in 2018-19, Rs 256 crore was received. Rs 247 crore was received in the year 2019-20, Rs 277 crore in 2020-21, Rs 347 crore in 2021-22. In the year 2022-23, a historic revenue amount of Rs 801 crore 55 lakh was received in the state.
