The Chief Minister participated in the Karma Jayanti week celebrations organized in the capital.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Karma Dham located in Krishna Nagar-Tikrapara of the capital Raipur this evening and participated in the Karma Jayanti week celebrations and mass ideal marriage organized by Sahu Samaj from March 11. Earlier, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state by worshiping Mata Karma in the Karmadham complex.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that collective ideal marriage is an exemplary initiative for all the society. It is a very good thing that now awareness is increasing among people about mass marriage. Due to the encouragement of mass marriage at the social level, it has now become part of our tradition. He said that the society moves fast only by adopting good and new traditions along with carrying forward the good traditions that are already going on. For this, it is necessary for the society to be organized.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that Sahu Samaj is a hardworking society, which also pays special attention to thrift. In the program, he called the resolution of Sahu Samaj to build a medical college with its savings by staying away from evils and expensive marriages and expensive events a good idea and assured all possible help from the government for this. The Chief Minister blessed all the newly married couples starting their new journey of life by tying the knot in this ceremony organized under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Sahu Sangh, City District Sahu Sangh Raipur and Sant Mata Karma Ashram Raipur for their happy life. Twenty-two couples tied the knot in the mass ideal marriage program organized today at Karmadham.
Addressing the program, Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said that today the festival of Karma Jayanti is being celebrated in the entire state in an atmosphere of enthusiasm. He laid special emphasis on public participation by staying away from evil practices and orthodox tradition for the progress of the society. The program was also addressed by MP Mr. Sunil Soni, State President of Sahu Samaj Mr. Tehal Singh Sahu, President of District Sahu Union Mr. Keshav Sahu. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, President of Telghani Board Mr. Sandeep Sahu and President of District Central Cooperative Bank Mr. Pankaj Sharma and people of Sahu community were present in large numbers.
