Raipur.17 March 2023.  You must have heard about many types of charity. Today we are going to tell you about donating utensils made of special metal. The era of bronze may have passed but even today traditional utensils of bronze are in the homes. Bronze donation has been started for making the idol of Budhadev in Budha Talab. Gajendra Rath, who is associated with this campaign, said that the Kansa Daan Abhiyan has been started from February 25. Seven tonnes of bronze utensils have been collected so far. Donation chariots have been taken out at the block level in the state. A grand program is going to be held in the capital on 8th April.
Why the need for idol installation?
Gajendra told, Raja Raisingh Jagat had settled Raipur 800 years ago. He also got the old pond excavated. The kings were tribal. The family deity was Budha Dev. Like Balaji in South and Shirdi in Maharashtra, similarly Budha Dev is the family deity of Chhattisgarh. But the people here have forgotten the old God. When we discussed in the meeting of Sarv Adivasi Samaj, it came out that the dream of our king remained unfulfilled. On the joint initiative of Chhattisgarhiya Kranti Sena, Sarva Chhattisgarh Samaj and Sarva Adivasi Samaj, it was decided that a grand 71-feet statue of Budha Dev would be installed in the Budha Talab complex.
Dhokra craftsmen will give shape
The idol will be made by melting bronze. Dhokra craftsmen of Bastar will give shape to the idol. The same artists have given figures regarding the construction of the idol. The construction action plan has been prepared on the basis of one foot-one ton formula.
