A three-day national seminar will be organized from March 17 to March 19, 2023 at the School of History of Pandit Ravi Shankar University under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. In this seminar, 25 resource persons from 10 states will deliver their lectures and 85 research papers will be read on the topic: Different Currents of the National Movement: Subhash Chandra Bose and Azad Hind Fauj with special reference. The seminar will be inaugurated on March 17 at 11.30 am by former Vice-Chancellor Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, Professor Ravindra Kumar, Chief Guest and under the chairmanship of Professor Keshari Lal Verma, Vice-Chancellor of Pandit Ravi Shankar University, Raipur. Director Technical Education Chhattisgarh Government Raipur Shri Avnisharan as special guest and Professor and Head Department of History Magadh University Bodh Gaya Professor Mukesh Kumar will present the base statement.
Convener of this National Seminar, Dr. Dishwar Nath Khanute, Senior Assistant Professor, Pandit Ravi Shankar University School of History Studies told that at present the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated across the country. In this episode, the contribution of the country’s great patriot, brave son Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the national movement and the excellent work of Azad Hind Fauj is being brought before the country. Along with this, regional history of Chhattisgarh and its contribution to the national movement will also be discussed. There will be two technical sessions on the first day of the seminar and four technical sessions will be held on March 18 and two on March 19. Alumni meet is also kept on the afternoon of the closing ceremony.
