In the meeting of Disha Committee, after taking information about the works of MNREGA, the MP asked to get various works done as per the prescribed guidelines. He said that it is necessary to encourage the self-help groups as much as possible by training them for spices, chilli powder, turmeric production, cocoon production etc. So that they can become self-sufficient by producing quality products. The MP asked the officer of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to provide him the report of the inspection of the roads by the Centre, State and Department. Taking information about the works of Jal Jeevan Mission, he said that tap connections should not be given outside the houses of the beneficiaries but in the courtyard of their houses. He asked for better water facilities to be made available to the public by laying well-organized pipelines while doing quality work. The MP asked for regular monitoring of works being done for the weaker sections under Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana. Taking information about other schemes including maternal health, child health, family welfare program, National Tuberculosis Control Program, National Leprosy Control Program, Ayushman Bharat Scheme and other schemes under the health department in the district, he took information about the capacity of the oxygen plant, ventilator beds in the district hospital and patients.
