Bhopal. 13 March 2023. The new excise policy of Madhya Pradesh is in a lot of discussions these days. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Saturday (March 11, 2023) that the state government has imposed a moral ban on drinking alcohol in the new excise policy. He said that there is no dearth of money for public welfare and development works. Referring to BJP leader Uma Bharti, he has described her as a guide.

 

Shivraj said – step taken from the point of view of social reform

Chouhan participated in his felicitation ceremony at Ravindra Bhavan here for bringing ‘excise policy according to the respect, security and interests of the mother power’ of the state. During this, he said, “Drinking in public places has been banned. This is a big step in terms of preventing accidents and improving society.

Uma Bharti was also praised

Chauhan further said, “I have been working with Uma didi for years. Didi works for the welfare of the world. They never tolerate injustice. He is a social reformer. She is continuously working for de-addiction, protection of cow and promotion of organic farming. Saraswati resides in his throat. He said that through the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, one thousand rupees each will be deposited in the accounts of the sisters. Chouhan said that I will always work on Didi’s suggestions. I have always been receiving Didi’s blessings for good works and will continue to receive them in future as well. It is because of his inspiration that I have been able to do this work. Better work will be done for the welfare of daughter and sister.

Uma Bharti told Shivraj’s decision as historical

At the same time, Uma Bharti also praised the new excise policy and thanked the Chief Minister. He said, “I am very happy with the new policy. I have self-satisfaction. The Chief Minister has fulfilled my heart’s desire. Such excise policy is not there in any state of India. Bharti said that in the new policy one cannot drive or walk on the road after drinking alcohol. This policy will create such a situation that people will be forced to give up alcohol. This policy will prove to be a milestone in maintaining the dignity of the society. He said that it is a big responsibility of the people’s representatives along with the administration to follow the policy. Supporting the policemen, Bharti said, “Police should punish drinkers without any fear, whoever they may be.
