Addressing the people at the Kalar Mahasammelan, the Chief Minister said that the level of education in Chhattisgarh has increased a lot in the last four years. Swami Atmanand English medium schools have also opened in rural areas and long closed schools have also been opened in Naxalite areas. The state government is constantly making efforts to ensure that students get quality education and that is why a provision of spending Rs 17,000 crore on education has been kept in the budget. In order to provide employment to the youth, new trades are being opened in ITI colleges on the basis of modern demand so that the youth can be trained as per the demand of the time.
