Trains to run in stages after due permission from places where more people are stranded
Raipur, 09 May 2020. Under the guidance and direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, special inititiaves have been started amid lockdown to clear the way regarding the return of migrant workers, students, people in distress or people in need of medical care.
The Government of Chhattisgarh has confirmed 4 Shramik Special trains.To board in these trains, people will have to apply in the application established by the state government.
The State Government has asked people to stay where they are and be in touch with the local authorities. People who have not got themselves registered as of now, must register soon. Trains will be started as the permission is received from the railways and concerned states.Trains will be operated in stages from places where more number of people are stranded.
Government of Chhattisgarh has released the link for this app. Only the workers of Chhattisgarh, students, people in distress or people in need of medical care who are stranded in other states will be allowed to travel in these trains.
The 4 trains confirmed by the Government of Chhattisgarh include first train Pathankot Punjab to Champa, second train Sabarmati Ahmedabad to Bilaspur, third train Sabarmati Ahmedabad to Bilaspur and fourth train Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh to Bilaspur.
The state government has released an online link for travel on these trains: http://cglabour.nic.in/covid19MigrantRegistrationService.aspx . By applying in this application, people will be able to return to their home state via these trains.
