Raipur: Chief Minister extended best wishes on International Women’s Day

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and best wishes to all mothers, sisters and daughters on International Women’s Day. In his greeting message issued on the eve of International Women’s Day, the Chief Minister said that International Women’s Day is celebrated all over the world on March 8 for the purpose of reaching women their rights, empowering them and gender equality. He said that women have made their mark in every field with their ability, ability and courage. Without their participation, we cannot imagine overall development.
Mr. Baghel has said that the status of women has always been high in Chhattisgarh. But in terms of economic participation in the household and society, she was lagging behind, seeing this the state government adopted a strategy to connect women with self-reliance. A new path of economic prosperity has been prepared for them by linking them with Gothans and women’s groups. Gothans are becoming self-employment centers for women. Gothans are being developed as Rural Industrial Parks. A large number of women are benefiting from this. Today the women of Chhattisgarh are making a name for themselves in the whole country with their entrepreneurship and ability. 
The Chief Minister has said that women are actively participating in every field of development in Chhattisgarh. In order for mothers and sisters to progress faster, the state government has not only waived the loan of Rs 13 crore of women groups, but has also doubled the loan limit from Mahila Kosh on low interest. Innovative initiatives like Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan and Dai-Didi Clinic Yojana have been taken to take care of the health of women. It has yielded positive results, More than one lakh women have become anaemia-free. Women from poor settlements are being treated under the Dai-Didi Clinic Scheme. The Chief Minister has said that the state government is making continuous efforts for the betterment of women. In the budget of the financial year 2023-24, it has been announced to start Kaushalya Samridhi Yojana to provide employment to women. Along with this, a provision has been made to increase the assistance amount from Rs. 25 thousand to Rs. 50 thousand in Chief Minister’s daughter’s marriage. Arrangements have also been made in the budget to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers, assistants and Mitanins engaged in nutrition and care of women. Mr. Baghel has said that the real development of the society is possible only when we adopt a positive attitude towards half the population and provide them a safe and full opportunity to move forward.
