Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel released a booklet titled ‘Jatra’ written by Dr. Satyajit Sahu on the specially protected tribes of Chhattisgarh in his office room located in the Vidhansabha here today. On this occasion, Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Chairman of Bastar Development Authority Mr. Lakheshwar Baghel along with Mr. Sunil Sharma, Mr. Santosh Thakur, Mr. Suraj Dubey and Ms. Bhumisuta Sahu were also present.
Dr. Sahu told Chief Minister Mr. Baghel that the concentration of special backward tribes living in Chhattisgarh, their lifestyle, living conditions and food habits have been mentioned in the booklet. Along with this, the efforts made by his team to create health awareness among these tribes through the camp as well as to remove misconceptions about minor diseases have also been informed. He told that his team is providing free health tests and medicines besides providing information about the health schemes being run by the state government by setting up camps in remote tribal areas. While appreciating the work of Dr. Sahu and his team members, the Chief Minister congratulated and extended best wishes to them.
