Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has provided financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to Surajpur district’s kickboxer Ms. Nigita Yadav for participation in kickboxing international competition organized in Dubai. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has congratulated Sushri Nigita for bringing laurels to the country and the state by displaying excellent sports. Nigita Yadav has thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for the financial cooperation.
On Friday, Collector Ms. Iffat Ara presented a check of financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to Nigita Yadav, given by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel under voluntary grant. It is worth mentioning that 19-year-old Nigita Yadav, a resident of Surajpur, father Mr. Laxman Yadav, won a silver medal in the National Kickboxing Competition (category-48 kg) held in Tamil Nadu in the year 2022. After this, he has been selected for the international competition of kick boxing to be held in Dubai. Even before this, he has performed excellently in many competitions.
Nigita Yadav told that her father takes care of the family by selling gram and pods. His financial condition is not good. Because of this she is not able to do her practice. Due to his financial condition, he is not able to play outside the country by going to Dubai. She will be able to participate in the competition with the financial support given by the Chief Minister.
