Collector Mr. P.S. Dhruv today visited village Bundeli of Vananchal in Manendragarh block. During this, the Collector inspected the orchards and vegetable cultivation of many farmers by walking about 4 kilometers. Under the National Horticulture Mission, farmers Charkuram, Kisan Singh, Gajadhar, Chandrapratap Singh of Bundeli village have planted fruit plants of different species in one hectare and cultivated vegetables by taking advantage of the river alluvial scheme. Apart from planting mango orchard, these farmers have also planted pomegranate, papaya, banana etc. 

Collector Mr. Dhruv expressed happiness and congratulated the farmers on seeing their orchards and vegetable cultivation. The farmers were very happy to see the collector Mr. Dhruv suddenly coming in their midst in the vegetable garden. He gave detailed information about the development of orchards, the help received from the government for vegetable cultivation and the benefits from it. Farmer Gajadhar Singh told that in the year 2018, he had planted papaya along with planting mango orchard under Horticulture Mission. Now the mango trees are ready. Apart from selling papaya and tomatoes worth Rs 1.25 lakh, he has also sold green chillies worth Rs 30,000. Farmer Chandra Pratap has planted an orchard last year. Fruit garden and vegetable cultivation is being done by many farmers in Bundeli village. 

On this occasion, Collector Mr. Dhruv distributed vegetable minikits to farmers Mr. Charkuram, Gajadhar Singh, Kishan Singh, Siteshwar, Sukhdhu Singh with the amount of DMF and encouraged them to increase their income by cultivating vegetables. Earlier, the Collector inspected the primary school, Bundeli. The collector advised the teacher who reached the school late to come to the school on time and teach the children with hard work.
