412.19 crore has been paid to the beneficiaries of Godhan Nyaya Yojana

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel released an amount of Rs. 8 crore 63 lakh online to cattle rearing villagers, women groups and Gauthan committees under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana through a virtual program at the Chief Minister’s residence office today. So far Rs 412.19 crore has been paid to the beneficiaries of this scheme. Along with this, a total of 105 lakh 63 thousand quintals of cow dung has been purchased since the inception of this scheme, in lieu of which an amount of Rs 211 crore 25 lakh has been provided to the cow dung vendors today after payment of Rs 4.76 crore. .
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the cow herders, cattle herders, women’s groups and Gothan committees. He said that there has been an increase of 59 percent in cattle herders benefited from the Godhan Nyaya Yojana and 85 percent increase in cow dung purchase. The Chief Minister said that yesterday we unveiled the statue of Shivaji, that statue was painted with natural paint, it is a good thing that the paint made from cow dung is being used by the general public.
The Chief Minister said that out of the total amount being transferred today, Rs. 04 crore 76 lakh was paid for the purchase of cow dung. Out of this, an amount of Rs.02 crore 6 lakh has been paid by the department and an amount of Rs.02 crore 70 lakh has been paid by the self-supporting Gothans. He said that a total of 10 thousand 732 gothans have been sanctioned in the state, out of which 09 thousand 720 have been constructed and are being operated, which means that construction of 91 percent of the approved gothans has been completed. The construction of 07 percent Gothans is going on fast.
The Chief Minister said that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana is moving forward with full success. Many beneficiaries are getting benefited from this. For making paint from cow dung, 45 units have been approved in 21 districts, out of which 13 units have started. The remaining 32 units are being constructed at a fast pace. So far 30 thousand 218 liters of paint has been produced. Out of these, 14 thousand 358 liters of paint has been sold. An income of Rs 29 lakh 16 thousand 300 has been received from this.
He said that cow urine is being procured in 99 Gauthans. So far 01 lakh 33 thousand 484 liters of cow urine has been procured. Its cost is 05 lakh 37 thousand 936 rupees. So far an income of Rs 28 lakh 96 thousand 845 has been earned from the manufacture and sale of Brahmastra insect controller and Jeevamrit growth enhancer from cow urine.
It is worth mentioning that under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, self-supporting Gothans have started playing equal participation in the purchase of cow dung. For the past several fortnights, the share of self-supporting Gauthans in the amount being paid for the purchase of cow dung has started to remain 60 to 70 percent. In today’s situation, more than 50 percent Gothans have become self-supporting, who along with the purchase of cow dung and cow urine from their own funds, are paying for other expenses of the Gothans from their own capital. On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Food Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Chief Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. S.K. Bharathidasan, Secretary Dr. Ayaz Tamboli and other officers were present.
