Information given by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India through a letter to the Chief Secretary

Regarding the decision to extend the freezing date of the boundaries of administrative units for the census year 2021 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, till June 30, 2023, the Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh Shri Amitabh Jain has been informed through a letter. In this regard, the Home Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh has sent a letter to all the departments of the state government, Chairman, Board of Revenue, all Heads of Departments, all Divisional Commissioners, all Inspector General of Police ranks, all Collectors and all Superintendents of Police and informed about the freezing of boundaries of administrative units. Instructions have been given to ensure mandatory compliance of the decision of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to extend the date till June 30, 2023.
