In Bilaspur, news of queuing in front of liquor shops started from 6 am. In Rajnandgaon, the wine lovers broke all boundaries. People stood in queues clinging to each other. There were also reports of shocks in liquor shops from many places.
Locks of liquor shops have been opened since today after the sale of liquor in the entire state has been closed for more than a month. The government has issued an order to end the ban on liquor sales from liquor shops. Due to this, queues of liquor lovers were seen in all liquor shops from 8 am on Monday. People were standing in queues since morning in the shop located on the station road of Raipur. In the presence of the police, social distancing followed for a while, but as soon as the sale of liquor started, the patience of the wine lovers broke and they vied for the first bottle. The police failed to make people stand far after all the efforts. MG Road shop had the same condition. By half the road, the crowd of alcohol lovers destroyed all the arrangements. There was news of social distortion flying from all places including Gudiyari, Shankar Nagar, Mova, Mathpurina.

People stood in sufficient distance from each other and kept on queuing. Even at the stationary premium liquor shop near Tarabahar police station in Bilaspur, people queued up since morning.
