Financial assistance up to 20 thousand rupees in Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana

The way of taking care of the mother and child in the working family has now become easier. Chhattisgarh Government’s Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana is proving helpful in institutional delivery of pregnant women and provision of nutritious food to infants. Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to Rs 20,000 is given to the pregnant women of labor families.
Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana in Sukma district from January 2018 to December 2022, 703 beneficiaries have got its benefit in the district. Beneficiary of this scheme Mrs. Mehrunisha told that under Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana we got 20 thousand rupees which made us very happy. We have made FD in the bank for the future of the child. Beneficiary Mrs. Priyanka Haldar, a resident of Sukma, told that money was deposited in her account just a few days after the birth of the child. After the birth of the child, it is very important for pregnant mothers to take care of the health of both the child and the mother. Due to not being financially capable in many families, not getting nutritious food on time adversely affects the health of the child and the mother. By getting financial help from this scheme, the health of the child and the mother is taken care of well. Surely this scheme is proving to be very helpful for us.
