A fifteen-day training camp Aakar 2023 will be organized from 14 to 28 February by the Department of Culture to conserve, propagate, create awareness and interest in traditional crafts and arts. The training camp will be held every day from 04 pm to 07 pm at Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum Complex, Civil Line, Raipur.
According to the information received from the officials of the Culture Department, the youth willing for this training can get the training by depositing a registration fee of Rs.100. In this training camp, youth will be given training in painting, Madhubani, Rajwar Bhatti, tattooing, clay art, glass painting, mural art, jute craft, folk dance, bonsai, Gond art, sketching-patchitra. Trainees of Divyang and Orphan Ashram will be exempted from training fee. A training-exhibition of musical instruments will also be organized in this camp.
