Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain has given instructions to speed up the works of Ram-Van-Gaman circuit. He was reviewing in detail the works of Ram-Van-Gaman Circuit in the meeting of officials of Tourism Department at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan here today. He has instructed the collectors of all the districts of the state where the works of Ram-Van-Gaman circuit are being done, to complete these works on top priority. He said that the works should be completed soon by coordinating with the Public Works Department, Tourism Board, Forest Department and other departments.
In the meeting, the Chief Secretary took information from the officers of the tourism department regarding the physical and financial progress of the works of Ram-Van-Gaman circuit and the development of tourist places and the idols to be installed at designated places. He instructed to install welcome gates and sign boards at fixed distances on the main road and by-lanes of the circuit. It may be noted that the total length of sub-routes including the main route of Ram-Van-Gaman path is more than 2200 kms. Plantation is being done along these routes. Place-to-place indicators, information about pilgrimage and tourist places will be given.
In the meeting, officers of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board visited Sitamarhi Harchauka (Korea), Ramgarh (Surguja), Shivrinarayan (Janjgir-Champa), Turturia (Balodabazar), Chandrakhuri (Raipur), Rajim (Gariaband), Sihawa Saptarishi Ashram (Dhamtari), Jagdalpur ( In Bastar) and Ramaram (Sukma), information about the work being done under the Ram-One-Gaman circuit was given through a power point presentation. In the meeting, Secretary of Tourism Department, Mr. Anbalagan P., MD of Tourism Board. Mr. Anil Sahu and other officers participated.
