The Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs 3 crore 97 lakh 51 thousand for the construction of stop dam in Ambikapur Kudaria Bahra Nala, development block of Surguja district. With the construction of stop dam, drainage, drinking water, ground water augmentation and irrigation facility is proposed in 30 hectare area for the farmers.
