Every year from Magh Purnima to Mahashivaratri, a fifteen-day fair is held in the holy religious city of Rajim, located in Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. There is a confluence of three rivers in Rajim, hence it is also called Triveni Sangam, mainly three rivers flow here, namely Mahanadi, Pari river and Sondhur respectively. Kuleshwar Mahadev ji is sitting at the confluence site. From the year 2001 Rajim Mela was celebrated by the state government as Rajiv Lochan Mahotsav, from year 2005 it was celebrated as Kumbh, and now from 2019 it is being celebrated as Rajim Maghi Punni Mela. This event is organized under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Government Endowment and Tourism Department and Local Organizing Committee. The fair begins with Kalpavas. Devotees start Panchkoshi Yatra a fortnight in advance. In Panchkoshi Yatra, devotees visit Pateshwar, Fingeshwar, Bramhaneshwar, Visit Kopeshwar and Champeshwar Nath on foot and enjoy Dhuni. The journey of 101 km ends and the fair begins on Magha Purnima. This year Rajim Madi Punni fair has been organized from 5 February Madya Purnima to 18 February 2023 Mahashivratri. Thousands of sadhus and saints come from different places in Rajim Maghi Punni Mela, every year thousands of Naga sadhus, saints etc. come, and take part in special festivals, bath and saints, in this Maghi Punni Mela held every year, various Lakhs of people come from the states and visit Lord Shri Rajeev Lochan and Shri Kuleshwar Nath Mahadev Ji and consider their life blessed. People believe that the journey of Lord Jagannathpuri is not considered complete until Lord Shri Rajeev Lochan and Shri Kuleshwar Nath are visited.
      Rajim is a small town with a special significance in itself. Rajim is a Tehsil in Gariaband district. Rajim is famous for its archeology and ancient civilizations since ancient times. Rajim is mainly famous for the temple of Lord Shri Rajeev Lochan Ji. This temple of Rajim dates back to the 8th century. There is also a temple of Kuleshwar Mahadev ji here. The one who sits at the confluence place. Rajim Maghi Punni Mela runs every year from Magha Purnima to Mahashivratri. During this, various cultural and religious events are organized by the administration.
