Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the newly constructed building of Swami Atmanand School at Jamgaon (M) in Patan development block of Durg district at a cost of Rs. 2 crore. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also saw the astrolab established here. Here the children told the Chief Minister that how the effect of gravity varies in different planets. In the discussion with the children, the Chief Minister said that you people are being given information about astronomy in a very beautiful way, which is a very good thing.
      The Chief Minister also saw the telescope here. Also saw the display of the work of Indian astronauts Rakesh Sharma and Kalpana Chawla etc. The Chief Minister also visited the Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab and Bio Lab of the school.
       The Chief Minister also saw the practicals of the children here and also asked them questions. The Chief Minister asked the children that how do you feel after studying in this school. The children said that they are feeling very good. Here you have given us all the facilities. Our teachers are very good and we are taught in a modern way. We are taken to smart class where we get all information and learn through audio visual content. The Chief Minister also saw the audio-visual class. Pradeep Chandrakar, a child, told the child about photosynthesis through an audiovisual class. The Chief Minister praised the teachers and said that in this way the process of reading and learning becomes very enjoyable for the children. 
The Chief Minister also met the parents of the children and said that education is free here. There are such good facilities, the teachers teach very well. We feel very good to send our children here. The Chief Minister also discussed with the teachers and praised them. It is noteworthy that the school has been constructed at a cost of two crore rupees, along with educational facilities for the children, there is also a playground and the sports facilities of the children have also been taken care of. Collector Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Meena told that proper arrangements have been made for the teachers in the school, as well as all the resources have been made available for the development of the children. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vinod Seven Lal Chandrakar, former MLA Mrs. Pratima Chandrakar and many public representatives and villagers were present.
