Women from the self-help group of Bemetara district are making masks to prevent corona infection during this corona crisis. This mask is very important to protect against corona infection. Women have made large amounts of masks. Which she is creating employment by selling to people. It is noteworthy that so far 2 lakh 40 thousand 223 masks have been sold by 138 women self-help groups of 1283 women members of Bemetara district. Due to which amount of 28 lakh 96 thousand 936 Income of women has been earned by self-help groups. Free distribution of 2160 masks has been done at village panchayat level by women self-help groups of Bemetara district. About 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees made by women self-help group. The soap and phenyl have been sold in government offices of the district. People are being made aware by women self-help groups to protect against corona virus through rangoli, wall writing etc. Collector Shri Shiv Anant Tayal has issued a letter to all the department heads of the district and instructed to use the material being produced by the women self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). Keeping in mind the imperative and necessity of masks at present times, the district administration has directed the women self-help groups to manufacture masks, so that they can provide employment at home by following social distance during the lockdown. 12-15 rupees to get fair price of masks made by women self-help groups The rate per mask has been determined. All government offices in the district have been directed to purchase masks and other products manufactured by women self-help groups. Students of Bemetara district who were studying in Kota Rajasthan have been brought back to the district in collaboration with the state government and these students have been placed in quarantine. These students are using masks made by women self-help groups during the quarantine period. The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Bemetara said that all Gram Panchayats, Janpad Panchayats, Zilla Panchayats, to ensure maximum sales of masks manufactured by women self-help groups and to provide market for the sale of women’s products during the lockdown. Masks were sold in the Chief Medical and Health Officer Office and other offices. Efforts were made to ensure the participation of more and more women in mask making work so that women are available in employment during the large number of lockdowns and their economic condition is strengthened.
