Raipur: The Chief Minister sought blessings for the prosperity of the state by offering prayers at Tapeshwar Mahadev Temple.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today worshiped Mahadev at Tapeshwar Mahadev Temple located in Tatapani and sought blessings for the prosperity and happiness of the people of the state. The Chief Minister offered flowers to the huge statue of Tapeshwar Mahadev after circumambulating the twelve Jyotirlingas located in the temple premises.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had reached Tatapani on the occasion of the inauguration of Sakranti Parab Tatapani Mahotsav on Makar Sankranti.

Enjoyed kite flying – During this, the Chief Minister enjoyed kite flying by holding manja with the children of Swami Atmanand School. He said that after about 14 years he has held Manjha. There is a different feeling of flying a kite.

Enjoyed tilkut sitting on the cot- The  Chief Minister enjoyed tilkut and sesame laddoos sitting on four pies in the temple premises. It is a belief that on the day of Makar Sankranti, bath, donations are made along with tilkut and sesame laddoos are eaten.

On this occasion, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretary and Samari MLA Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, Vice President of Surguja Development Authority Mr. Brihaspat Singh, Director of Apex Bank Mr. Ajay Bansal, Collector Mr. Vijay Dayaram K, Superintendent of Police Mr. Mohit Garg and other local Public representatives and officers were present.
