Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on ‘National Youth Day’, the birth anniversary of great philosopher, author and spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda, which falls on January 12.
In his message, Shri Baghel said that the teachings of Swami Vivekananda have given a new direction to the entire society. He showed the country and the world the way to serve mankind with his teachings and powerful lectures. Many aphorisms like Swami ji’s ‘Get up, wake up and don’t stop until the goal is achieved’ fills the youth with a new energy. The incredible legacy of thoughts that Swami ji has handed over to us at the young age of 39 will continue to inspire for generations to come.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel has said that it is a matter of honor and pride for Chhattisgarh that Swami Vivekananda spent some time of his childhood in Raipur. The state government is making efforts to save and preserve the priceless memories of Swami ji in Raipur. The building of Rai Bahadur Bhoot Nath Dey Charitable Trust in Raipur, the residence of Swamiji, has been developed as Swami Vivekananda Memorial. Budhatalab of Raipur has been named after him as ‘Vivekananda Sarovar’. The statue of Vivekananda ji in meditative posture is installed here. The airport located at Nava Raipur has been named after him. The memories associated with Swamiji give Raipur a special identity in the world. The Chief Minister said that Swamiji’s thoughts and life values will always inspire us.
