Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the meeting-meet program with the general public at Belargaon village of Sihawa assembly constituency today, said that the first thing he did after taking oath as the Chief Minister was loan waiver to the farmers. He said that after taking the oath, he went straight to the Mantralaya and signed the loan waiver file of Rs 9,500 crore outstanding against about 19 lakh farmers of the state. He said that our aim is to improve the income and standard of living of the people of the state. For this, various means of livelihood have been created in the last four years. Referring to innovative schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Krishi Bhoomihin Mazdoor Nyaya Yojana, Suraji Gaon Yojana, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Chief Minister Haat Bazar Clinic, he said that these schemes are bettering the lives of the people. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that in order to improve the level of education in the state, along with increasing the budget, schools have been started for free education in English medium. Today 279 schools are running in the state. Through which the children of poor families are getting good education. The children of the village have also started talking fluently in English. Loan deposit recovered from loan waiver
During the meeting in Belargaon, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was informed by Jhankeshwar Sahu, a farmer of Saloni village, that his loan of Rs. The Chief Minister jokingly asked farmer Jhankeshwar Sahu what he should buy for his daughter-in-law, to which Mr. Jhankeshwar Sahu smiled and told that he had bought a big gold necklace for his wife.
Mobile for daughter’s education and gold tops for wife
During the meeting in Belargaon, villager Praveen Kumar told that by selling cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, along with everyday needs, dreams are also being fulfilled. Praveen Kumar told the Chief Minister that he earned Rs 86,000 by selling 430 quintal cow dung, from which he bought a mobile phone worth Rs 10,000 for his daughter’s studies and gold tops worth Rs 17,000 for his wife. Praveen said that Chief Minister, we had heard the saying of Ghuruva’s day being prosperous, now our days are also prosperous with the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Farmer Suresh Sahu said that he has reared 18 animals. Till now he has sold cow dung worth Rs 1,60,000, installed drip irrigation system in his four acres of land and started earning better profit by cultivating vegetables. Rewarded for planting and protecting trees
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel rewarded farmer Chunnilal Sahu for planting and protecting a tree during a meeting in Belargaon and congratulated him for it. 35 kg rice is available for free
When the Chief Minister inquired about the availability of ration cards and food grains from the gathering present in Belargaon, the people told that they have got ration cards and are getting rice, salt and sugar every month. Kavita Yadav of Belargaon said that her family of four gets 35 kg rice and two packets of salt free of cost per month. One kg of sugar is available at the rate of Rs.17 per kg and two kg of gram at the rate of Rs.5 per kg.
