Mrs. Sarita Sahu, housewife of Risaipara ward of Dhamtari city, is very happy that Mitan came and completed the process of making her PAN card sitting at home. She says that on calling the toll free number 14545 to make a PAN card, Mitan reached her home and completed the online registration process for making a PAN card by taking the necessary documents from her. Mitan was told that the PAN card would arrive at the given address in due time. Due to the ease of making the process of making PAN card, Mrs. Sahu started saying happily that she did not need to go to the offices for PAN card and everything was done easily. For this, she thanks the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and says that the Chief Minister Mitan Yojana is no less than a boon for the common people including us housewives, because through this the citizens are getting essential services sitting at home.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel gave another gift to the citizens by providing the facility to register for PAN card under the Mitan Yojana on 17 December 2022, on the occasion of completion of four years of the state government. Under this, now Mitan is coming home and completing the further registration process by collecting necessary documents for making PAN card. So far eight people of Dhamtari city including Mrs. Sarita Sahu have been registered for PAN card. For this, Aadhaar card and two passport size photographs are being taken as necessary documents. The goal of the state government is to expand this scheme and provide 100 types of services easily to all the citizens, especially the elderly, disabled and illiterate, sitting at home.
It is noteworthy that under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Home Access Service ‘Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana’ was started in all the 14 municipal corporations of the state from May 01, 2022, by the Urban Administration Development Department to make government documents available to the citizens. Under the scheme, 16 types of citizen services are being provided through Mitan at doorstep on calling toll free number 14545. Under this, till now about 47400 people have made an appointment to get government documents made at home, while more than 37700 citizens have received their necessary government documents sitting at home. Apart from this, more than 96 thousand citizens have obtained information regarding obtaining government documents. Where previously 13 Citizen Services Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Request for copy of document, non-digitized (copy of land record etc.), birth-death certificate, Facility of marriage registration and certificate, shop registration, land information, birth certificate correction, death certificate correction, marriage certificate correction, mobile number updation in Aadhaar card was being given. On the other hand, on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, from November 1, 2022, Aadhaar registration of children up to 5 years and mobile number update facility was started in the Aadhaar of citizens of all age groups. Now making of PAN card has also been included in Mitan Yojana, expanding the scope of civic facilities. Due to this, people are saving labor, time and money, as well as getting rid of the rounds of government offices to get certificates. Mobile number updation facility was being given in Aadhaar card.
