Administrative approval of Rs 3 crore 42 lakh 76 thousand has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdev Kachar Bilaspur for strengthening the top work of Jhagrakhand Reservoir Scheme in Bilaspur district and for the remaining cement concrete lining work in the canals by the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of Chhattisgarh. With the completion of the work, along with meeting the shortfall of 75 hectares in the irrigation capacity of this scheme, there will be water supply for irrigation in a total of 207 hectares.
