Raipur 30 April 2020 . Due to the circumstances arising out of the lockdown, more than 2 lakh 79 thousand needy workers were trapped outside the state and the state Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Labor Minister Dr. Instant relief has been reached on the instruction of Shiv Kumar Dahria. It is noteworthy that on the basis of information received from other sources including the help line established by the Labor Department under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel during the lockdown in the country to prevent infection of Corona virus (Kovid-19). As of April 28, up to 3 pm, the problems of about 2 lakh 79 thousand 38 needy workers have been resolved quickly.

One lakh 8 thousand 315 migrant laborers of Chhattisgarh, who have been reported to be in 21 states and 4 union territories of the country, make quick diagnosis of the problems reported by them, food, ration, cash, salary and salary from the employers and Medical arrangements have been made available. Along with this, arrangements are being made for coordination of various industrial institutions, employers and managers (ration and cash) etc. by constituting a team of officers of Labor Department. Out of these, one thousand 993 workers were paid Rs 3 crore 28 lakh 9 thousand 997 outstanding salary, while taking prompt action on the complaints received from workers of various industrial institutes and factories, 1065 workers were also given Rs 10 million 20 thousand 835 after testing. Outstanding salary has been paid. Along with this, 12 thousand 854 employees and workers have been paid salaries of 14 crore 7 lakh 72 thousand 594 in coordination with managers, managers of various industrial institutes-factories located in Raipur district. In the second phase of the lockdown, about 67 thousand 157 workers have been provided re-employment in the exempted activities and industrial areas from April 21. At the same time, work has started in 693 small and big factories.

On receipt of information about the economic problems of 13 thousand 613 laborers living outside Chhattisgarh by the labor department, cash amount of Rs 50 lakh 37 thousand has been deposited in their accounts as an immediate arrangement. Of these, 6 thousand 441 workers of Mungeli district have been deposited 9 lakh 67 thousand 6 hundred rupees in their accounts for immediate arrangement. Similarly, 4 thousand 886 workers of Bemetra, 21 lakh 63 thousand one hundred rupees, 875 2 thousand 5 hundred rupees for 775 workers of Durg district, 3 lakh 16 thousand hundred rupees in the account of 632 workers of Korea district, 482 of Kabirdham district. 4 lakh 82 thousand rupees have been deposited in the accounts of workers and Rs 97 thousand in the accounts of 194 workers of Rajnandgaon district.

Similarly, one lakh 57 thousand rupees in the accounts of 125 workers of Surajpur district, Rs 15 thousand in the accounts of 30 workers of Raigad district, 19 thousand rupees in the accounts of 29 workers of Jajangir-Champa, 14 of Gariaband district 12 thousand one hundred rupees in the accounts of workers, 4 thousand and one thousand rupees respectively in the accounts of 2-2 workers of Korba and Sukma district and one thousand rupees in the account of one laborer of Balrampur district. Besides, 42 clinics have been operated in the state so far through Employees State Insurance (ESI). Similarly, helpline numbers have also been set up in all 27 districts.
