Numerous celebrations will be held to mark the end of the state government’s four-year term.

In Gauthans, primary cooperative societies, and paddy purchase centres, information regarding government initiatives will be given.
Raipur 13 December 2022, The ‘Chhattisgarh Gaurav Divas’ will be held on December 17 to commemorate the end of the state government’s four-year tenure under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. On this day, programmes will be held in all Gauthans, cooperative society complexes, paddy procurement centres, tendu patta collection centres, forest produce management committees, haat-bazaars operating in all districts, and urban wards to educate the public about the government’s public welfare schemes. At 11 a.m., Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will also deliver a message to the people of the state.
In accordance with the schedule created for the Chhattisgarh Gaurav Divas celebration, on December 17, 2022, at 11 a.m., farmers, the chairman and members of the Gauthan Committee, cattle herders, landless workers, public officials, members of local bodies, and Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club members along with the Residents in the area,will be invited and briefed about the accomplishments by the government under various schemes over the last four years. Along with this, details regarding important government initiatives will also be shared.
Farmers will be invited to the Primary Cooperative Society Complex, Paddy Purchase Centers, at 3 p.m., where they will receive information about the government’s important agricultural programmes, including the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and the interest-free loan programme (Byaj mukt rin yojana). On the same day at 11 am, information regarding the programmes being run for the farmers and labourers in the state’s forested areas will be provided at Tendupatta collection centres as well as the office of the Forest Produce Management Committee. People will also receive information about government public assistance programmes at Haat Bazar locations running in every district.
In urban locations, programmes will be conducted at the ward level starting at 11 am. Residents of the ward will be informed about the achievements of the four years of government at this event, to which local public representatives are invited.
On December 17, 2018, the state’s administration officially began under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. The government delivered on its pledges, including buying paddy for Rs. 2.500 rupees per quintal, forgiving farmer debt, and eliminating irrigation tax, within two hours of assuming office. At a cost of Rs 2500 per quintal, the government had purchased 80.37 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in that year. The Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana was then launched, and plans were made to provide farmers with input subsidies for their crops. The number of farmers, the area under cultivation, and the amount of paddy purchased all grew after the implementation of this scheme.84 lakh metric tonnes of paddy was procured in the year 2019-20, 92 lakh metric tonnes in 2020-21, 98 lakh metric tonnes in 2021-22. This year a target has been set to procure 110 lakh quintals of paddy. Input subsidy of Rs 16,401 crore 45 lakh has been paid so far in four years under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.All Kharif crops, horticultural crops, tree plantations, and Kodo-Kutki-Ragi have now been added to the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, broadening its scope. The Bhupesh Baghel-led administration started out by forgiving 17 lakh 82 thousand farmers’ outstanding agricultural loans totaling Rs 9270 crore. Similar to that, An amount of Rs 244 crore 18 lakh in unpaid irrigation tax that had been owed by more than 17 lakh farmers for years was also forgiven within two hours.Following this, Rs 80 crore in owing irrigation taxes from 2018 to June 2021 were also abolished. In keeping with another commitment, the government gave 1,707 farmers in Lohandiguda, Bastar, 4,200 acres of land it had acquired. With the phrase “Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh,” Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel launched the Suraji Gaon Yojana, and the Narva, Garva, Ghurva, and Bari initiatives carried out under it served as the cornerstone for boosting the rural economy. The state government was also able to realise Gram Swaraj in accordance with Mahatma Gandhi’s aspirations .Justice-related programmes like the ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ and ‘Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana’ were launched in the state. Under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Chhattisgarh became the first state in the nation to purchase cow dung for Rs 2 per kg and cow urine for Rs 4 per litre. In addition to the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, livelihood-oriented activities were also initiated throughout, more than 9,619 Gauthans constructed in the state under the Garva Ghatak of the Suraji Gaon Yojana, which gave thousands of women in self-help organisations jobs. 300 Gauthans are being refurbished to become rural industrial parks as part of the RIPA scheme.To ensure that the residents of forest areas have access to their rights, the tendupatta collection charge was raised from Rs. 2500 per standard bag to Rs. 4000 per standard bag. In a similar vein, from 7 to 65 minor forest products had to be obtained at the support price. The collecting of minor forest produce in forest areas, as well as their value addition and processing, resulted in the creation of hundreds of new job possibilities.
