The Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs 36 crore 41 lakh 05 thousand for the works of twelve different irrigation projects in the state.
One crore 45 lakh 50 thousand rupees has been sanctioned for the construction work of new canal from Pota to Jamgahan under Hasdev Bango project under development block- Malkharoda of Janjgir-Champa district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 185 hectare area. In Janjgir-Champa district, Rs 3 crore 82 lakh 73 thousand has been sanctioned for the renovation work from Kharsia canal to Kurda distributary canal of Hasdev Bango project. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 500 hectare area. Similarly, one crore 95 lakh 98 thousand rupees have been approved for the construction work of Amora Anicut (Navapara township) on Leelagar river under development block-Akaltara. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 80 hectare area. Development block- Rs 2 crore 33 lakh 51 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of Parsada Anicut at Kanjinala in Akaltara itself. 97 hectares from the completion of the scheme Irrigation facility will be available in the area. Rs 3 crore 92 lakh 53 thousand has been sanctioned for CC lining and earth filling work of Bokramunda distributary canal under Hasdeo Bango project. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 1690 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 46 lakh 16 thousand has been sanctioned for CC lining and earth filling work of Parsada distributor canal under Hasdev Bango project. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 192 hectare area. Three crore 92 for CC lining and earth filling of Bokrel distributary canal of Hasdeo Bango project. Three crore 92 lakh 53 thousand rupees have been approved for sea lining and earth filling work. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 1690 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 46 lakh 16 thousand has been sanctioned for CC lining and earth filling work of Parsada distributor canal under Hasdev Bango project. Lakh 7 thousand rupees have been sanctioned. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 811 hectare area. Six crore 12 lakh 55 thousand rupees have been approved for Shivrinarayan electrification, decoration and water foundation work under tourism development of Nawagarh Ram Van Gaman Path in Janjgir-Champa district. Two crore 23 lakh 74 thousand rupees have been approved for the construction work of Harethi stop dam on Tirain Nala in Sakti. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 45 hectare area. One crore 67 lakh 24 thousand rupees has been sanctioned for the construction work of Parsapal stop dam on the local drain in Sakti. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 60 hectare area. Similarly, three crore three lakh 13 thousand rupees have been approved for the construction work of Budhanpur stop dam in Karwar Nala of Sakti. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 90 hectare area. Shakti’s brawler Two crore 46 lakh 36 thousand rupees have been approved for the construction work of Mohgaon stop dam on the drain. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 78 hectare area.
