Mukti Bodh episode

Muktibodh is the name of finding oneself in dark times. As the darkness was in the era of liberation, today it is much deeper than that. In such a situation, Muktibodh shows light, this was said by poet and thinker Laltu during the inaugural session on the first day of the two-day ‘Muktibodh event’ organized at Kala Bhavan of Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University. Expressing Muktibodh’s linguistic views, he spoke on the current linguistic crisis while reading Muktibodh’s article ‘Linguistic guide who fits Hindi in English shoes’. Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi and Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University are jointly organizing the two-day ‘Muktibodh Prasang’ focusing on different subjects and different sessions.
Senior critic Mr. Jai Prakash informed about the journey of Vichar Nirman while narrating soulful memoirs related to the life context of Muktibodh. He said that there is uniformity in Muktibodh’s poetry and life. He is a poet of struggle. The relevance of ideology makes Muktibodh liberating. Presiding over the session, Mr. Pradeep Muktibodh said that Muktibodh talked about education and history. Today we are seeing that constitutional institutions are in danger and he had said long ago that all the dangers of expression have to be taken.
During the ‘Impulse-Quick-Time-Traveller’ discussion session focused on the poems of Muktibodh, poet Mr. Mithlesh Sharan Choubey said that Muktibodh walks with literature and society. Muktibodh is an advocate of direct dialogue between literature and society. It has been his practice that literature and arts are not efforts within politics, but efforts running parallel to politics. Muktibodh removes the centrality of politics and establishes the general public. Its first step is man-making. While exploring the truth, Muktibodh expresses the significance of the truth.
In the same session, critic Mr. Mrityunjay says that there is criticism of I in Muktibodh’s poems. He talks about self-struggle in detail. He has a map of the future and a review of the times.
