Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel released the documentary film prepared by WHO on Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme 

WHO representative said – the last person of the state is getting the benefit of the scheme, this innovation is not found in any other state of the country 

This film will be shown at the headquarters of the World Health Organization in Geneva.

More than 62 lakh people got treatment facility in Haat-Bazar clinics

People are getting free check-up, treatment and medicines in 1798 haat-bazaars

A total of 1.28 lakh clinics have been organized in the state so far.

The World Health Organization has appreciated the Haat Bazar Clinic scheme of Chhattisgarh. WHO has prepared a documentary film on this scheme of the Government of Chhattisgarh, which is effective in providing health facilities to the people in the villages of Vananchal and remote areas. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel released this film in a program organized at his residence office here today. The film will be screened at the World Health Organisation’s headquarters in Geneva. 
WHO representative Dr. Hilde D. Greve, present on the occasion, said that the last person of the state is getting the benefit of the Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme. This innovation is not there in any other state of the country. Keeping these things in mind, WHO has produced this documentary film, so that the publicity of this scheme will be spread not only in other states but also in foreign countries. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has taken a commendable initiative through this scheme to provide health facilities to the people of remote areas with sensitivity. 
 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said on the occasion that medical facilities have been provided to more than 62 lakh 47 thousand people so far through the Haat Bazar Clinic scheme. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel thanked the World Health Organization for making a documentary on this scheme of the Chhattisgarh government. He said that today even the last person of Vananchal region is getting the benefit of the scheme. Those people who could not get their treatment due to distance from the hospital, are getting treatment through this scheme near their home today.
The Chief Minister said that in Chhattisgarh people definitely go to Haat-Bazar. The presence of medical team and doctors here, Due to the availability of free checkup and medicines, people have started getting their health checked and treated. People’s faith in health facilities has increased. The Haat-Bazar Clinic scheme has played an effective role in the success of the Malaria-free Bastar campaign and the Chief Minister’s Suposhan Yojana. Due to the operation of this scheme, the cases of diarrhea in Bastar have reduced considerably. The Chief Minister said that with the help of 429 medical mobile vehicles, 1798 Haat-Bazar Clinic Scheme is being operated in the state. So far, medical facilities have been made available to more than 62 lakh 47 thousand people in the last 4 years through more than 1 lakh 28 thousand hot market clinics. 10 types of tests and 60 types of medicines are being given free of cost under Haat-Bazar Clinic Scheme. In this scheme, medicines were distributed to more than 57 lakh 35 thousand people and more than 25 lakh people have undergone pathology tests. Pregnant mothers under Hot Bazaar Clinic scheme Screening, infectious and non-communicable diseases, eye disease screening, malnutrition screening, skin diseases, diabetes, TB, leprosy, high blood pressure and HIV screening and family planning advice are being given to the people. Vaccination of infants and pregnant women is also being done in these clinics. 
Referring to the efforts made to strengthen the medical system in the state, the Chief Minister said that health facilities have been strengthened in all health centers and district hospitals. Free testing facility has also been made available to the people through Hummer Lab. He said that though a lot has been done in the health sector so far, a lot more needs to be done. The officers and employees of the Health Department have done remarkable work in strengthening the health facilities in the state.
Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for starting this scheme and continuously reviewing it. He said that due to continuous monitoring, the general public of the state is getting the benefit of this scheme and will continue to get it in the future. Health Secretary Shri R. Prasanna said that under this scheme, patients are being sent to the nearest Primary Health Center, Community Health Center, District Hospital and Medical College for referral treatment as per the requirement. In the last 4 years, the number of patients coming to the clinic in Haat Bazar has increased from 18. 72 has happened.
On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrat Sahu, Director of Health Mr. Bhim Singh, Mission Director of National Health Mission Chhattisgarh Mr. Vilas Bhoskar Sandipan, Nodal of State’s Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme Dr. Abhyudaya Shakti Tiwari and Dr. Hilde D. Grave, Dr. Dilip Marembam, Uraya Nag and Gaurav Kumar from World Health Organization were present.
