Raipur: Chief Minister Mr. Baghel expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Chhattisgarh’s eminent law scholar Mr. C.N. Jha.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has appointed Chhattisgarh’s eminent legal expert and legal scholar Mr. C.N. Deeply saddened by the demise of Jha. He was walking unwell for a long time. He breathed his last today at the age of 91 in a private hospital in Bilaspur. Expressing condolences to the bereaved family members of Shri CN Jha, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul.
Mr. C.N. Jha was originally a resident of Kawardha. He along with late Mr. Laxman Prasad Tamboli, ‘M.P.Excise Law Collection, M.P. Wrote Necessary Commodities Manual and Hindu Vidhi’ law books. Mr. C.N. Jha has been awarded three times by the hands of the President for his outstanding contribution in the field of law. Mr. Jha had written 97 law books like Van Vidhi Sangrah, M.P.Palika Act, Agricultural Produce Market Act, Hindu Law Digest on MP Cases. After the formation of Chhattisgarh, he was awarded the prestigious state decoration ‘Barrister Chhedilal Puraskar’ for law by the state government. He was the editor-in-chief of ‘Chhattisgarh Law Judgment and Chhattisgarh Revenue Judgment Magazine’. Till 25 years of Shri Jha Kawardha Advocates Association, Bhoramdev was the chairman of the management committee for 22 years. Shri Jha was also the chairman of the Sangharsh Samiti formed for the construction of Kawardha district. His last rites will be performed at Muktidham in Kawardha on Saturday 19th November.
