Raipur: The Chief Minister approved the amount for the social buildings of various societies.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel met various heads of society at Dongargaon in Rajnandgaon tonight. He approved the amount for the social building by various delegations. On the request of providing land for the social building, the Chief Minister asked the heads of the society to apply to the collector. He said that land is being allotted to various societies on depositing 10 percent of the value of the land. 

During the meeting, the representatives of Chandravanshi tribal society were asked to apply to the collector for the social building. Shri Virendra Masih on behalf of Halba Samaj demanded a community hall at Godalwahi as well as a college. On this, the Chief Minister, while referring to the recently issued rules regarding running the college on PPP model, suggested the society to run the college under those provisions. On this, he also directed the District Collector to proceed with the proceedings. While giving approval for the community building for the society, the Chief Minister announced the approval of Rs.10 lakh. The representative of Sarva Adivasi Samaj in Dongargaon demanded a community building. The Chief Minister asked to apply.

Shri Gopal Tawari on behalf of Maheshwari Samaj demanded land for the society. The Chief Minister said that land up to 7500 sq. ft. is approved with the approval of the Collector and more land is approved with the approval of the Ministry, which can be obtained by depositing 10 percent of the value of the land. 

Similarly, the Chief Minister announced the approval of Rs.10 lakh each for the social building at Bilhari and Murmunda for the Sen community. On the demand of Rajput society to rename Bus Stand Chowk in the name of Maharana Pratap, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel asked the local administration (urban body) to get it approved. On behalf of Sahu Samaj, the representative expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for organizing the camp regarding sickling. The Chief Minister also informed that a state-of-the-art machine would soon be made available for quick checking of sickling. On behalf of the representative of Sahu Samaj, a demand was made for construction of a dome in the community building in Dongargaon. On this, the Chief Minister directed the District Collector to sanction 20 lakhs.

The representatives of Satnami Samaj demanded money from the Chief Minister to complete the construction of the incomplete community building. On this, the Chief Minister announced the approval of Rs 5 lakh. Digambar Jain society demanded to name the newly constructed hospital in Dongargaon after Lord Mahavir. While agreeing to this, the Chief Minister said to make a proposal. The representative of Pardhi Samaj told the problem of getting caste certificate. He talked about not getting caste certificate as a Scheduled Tribe. On this, the Chief Minister directed to give benefits to the Pardhi caste as a Scheduled Tribe in Chhattisgarh.

Rama Verma, a resident of Ramatola told Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel that his daughter studies in Mumbai and demanded a grant of Rs.2 lakh for her studies. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel approved the grant amount on the demand of Smt. Verma. Demanded for boundary wall of Brahmin Samaj Bhavan in Dongargaon. The Chief Minister directed the Collector to take necessary action. The representatives of Muslim society demanded land. The Chief Minister talked about getting the land allotment done following the necessary procedure. The Chief Minister agreed to the demand of funds for the construction of an additional room in the community building by the typical society.

The sanitation workers residing in Dongargaon told that 8-9 family members are living here for three generations. They are not getting the lease. The Chief Minister immediately directed the district administration to get the lease. Marar Samaj thanked the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the announcement of public holiday on Shakambhari Jayanti. Along with this, he demanded to sanction funds for the construction of an additional room in the community building of the society. On which the Chief Minister agreed and gave his approval. Nishad Samaj demanded money for construction of additional room in the hostel located at Sindai (Rajnandgaon), on which the Chief Minister gave approval of Rs.10 lakh.
