The Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava Mela, which has been going on for the last five days, saw a tremendous crowd of people on Sunday. People from all the districts of the state along with their families were seen enjoying the fair and the exhibition organized here. In the Rajyotsava fair, Chhattisgarhi jewelery attracted the villagers as well as the urban people. Urban girls were seen full of enthusiasm by wearing and seeing these traditional ornaments of Chhattisgarh. In Chhattisgarhi jewellery, people like Suta, Arai, Rupee garland, girdle, Banuvaria, Kakni, Mundri, Parry, Jackfruit, Lachha, Beechhiya, Nagmoti etc.
Many people who have come to the fair say that they have seen these ornaments for the first time. Some students say that till now they had read about these ornaments only in books, but today they also got a chance to see them in this fair. Not only this, officers and employees on duty were also seen shopping for these jewellery.
