Voting on the seat vacated by Mandavi’s passing will be held on December 5

Raipur05 noveber 2022. The Election Commission of India has announced the dates for the elections. Vidhan Sabha by-elections are also going to be held in Chhattisgarh. In fact, recently this seat is vacant after the death of MLA of Bhanupratappur assembly seat Manoj Singh Mandavi. There will be a by-election on this seat. Voting is also to be held in other states of the country. Its dates have been announced.

The Election Commission has released the schedule of by-elections for one parliamentary seat and five assembly seats in five states. It has Mainpuri parliamentary seat in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, by-elections are to be held for Padmapur in Odisha, Sardar Shahar in Rajasthan, Kurhani in Bihar, Bhanupratappur in Chhattisgarh and Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. Notification for these elections will be issued on November 10. With this the enrollment will start. Voting has been fixed for December 5 and counting of votes on December 8. The model code of conduct has come into force as soon as the election schedule is released.
