Diamond Jubilee program outline given final shape

Raipur, 30 October 2022, On the occasion of completion of 75 years of Government Nagarjuna Postgraduate Science College, Raipur, a meeting of the past and present students of the college was called in the e-class form of the college campus on Sunday morning to prepare for the Diamond Jubilee program. Honorable President, Honorable Governor, Honorable Chief Minister and Honorable Higher Education Minister have been invited.
Conducting the meeting, Prof. Girishkant Pandey said that extensive preparations have been started for organizing Diamond Jubilee. To make the event a success, 18 different committees have been formed. Control room has also been established on the first floor of the college. The meetings of the committees have started. Draupadi Murmu, the country’s first woman tribal president, has been invited to this program. There will also be many programs of big artists of Mumbai and local level. In this meeting Dr. Arun Dabke (Padmashree), Anurag Srivastava (IFS), Makarand Bhoot, Gopi Devangan, Shakeel Sajid, Namrata Yadu, Sohan Lal Singhania, Dr. Soumya Raghuveer, Dr. Varnika Sharma, Dr. Dinesh Mishra, Prof. Prasanna Sharma, Mahesh Sharma, Sanjay Patil, Kantilal Jain, Gagesh Dwivedi, Prof. Dhanaram Sahu, Prof. Ninad Bodhankar etc. shared their views and experiences. Anjay Shukla gave the presidential address, the program was conducted by Prof. Girish Kant Pandey. Kazi Noor, Dr. Aruna Shetye, Dr. Aruna Rana, Dr. Ravi Temre, Akash Tiwari, Pramod Deshpande, Arvind Pandey, Raghuraj Singh, Shiv Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, NK Agnihotri, Sujit Pal, Manvendra Singh, Dr. Rishi Jaiswal, Dr. A large number of alumni including Vinay Verma, etc. were present.
Target to invite 10 thousand students
In this event, a target has been set to invite about 10 thousand students of the college living abroad. A website will be launched soon to give detailed information about the registration of students and diamond jubilee. At the same time, the suggestion to use social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. came from the alumni. A souvenir will also be published on this occasion in which preparations are made to collect the achievements of all the alumni who participated.
Cooperation started in dollar and dinar
Some students living abroad who came to attend the meeting provided assistance in dollars and dinars. It is worth noting that a large number of students who have passed out from Science College are posted in high positions in foreign countries. Makarand Bhoot, who came to attend the meeting, provided 100 US dollars, while an alumnus from United Arab Emirates donated the amount in dinar. On this occasion, former student Shakeel Sajid announced a contribution of Rs.11 thousand.
