Raipur: Glimpses of tribal culture will be seen in Chhattisgarh for three days

the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh in Tourism Conclave in New Delhi
1500 tribal artists from different states including nine countries will attend

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh attended the Tourism Conclave in New DelhiA grand event of the National Tribal Dance Festival will be organized in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. This program will be organized from November 1 to 3 at Science College Ground. More than 1500 artists from 28 states and 8 union territories, including tribal artists from nine countries will participate in the festival.

During the Tourism Conclave organized in New Delhi, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that through this festival, not only will the tribal artists share their arts at the national and international level, but they will also share each other’s food, customs and traditions. You will also be able to see and understand customs, craftsmanship. In the course of these efforts, we have started a very important tradition in Chhattisgarh in the form of National Tribal Dance Festival. This effort of ours is very important not only for Chhattisgarh but also for the development of tribal communities of the country and the whole world.  

Tourism Conclave

Shri Baghel said that we have used art, culture and tourism as a strong resource in the social and economic empowerment of forest dwellers, tribals, farmers, villagers and deprived sections, and we have got good results. During the event, Mr. Baghel informed that invitation letters have been sent from Chhattisgarh to nine countries. All these countries will perform for the first time in Raipur. Tribal artists from Mozambique, Mongolia, Tongo, Russia, Indonesia, Maldives, Serbia, New Zealand and Egypt will participate in the event.

 

Tourism ConclaveAt the same time, the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, Delhi (ICCR) will be helpful in transporting and hospitalizing foreign guests arriving in Delhi to Chhattisgarh. During this, Labor and Social Welfare Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Mr. Anil Sahu and other officials of Chhattisgarh were involved. 
On the initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the ministers and administrative officers of Chhattisgarh are being personally sent to 
invite the Chief Ministers and Governors of different states.

Two themes have been fixed for the national festival,
this time two themes have been kept in the tribal dance festival. The first theme is ‘Tribal Dances on Harvesting’ and the second theme is ‘Tribal Traditions and Customs’. Prizes worth Rs 20 lakh will be distributed to the winners. Prizes of Rs.05 lakh will be given for the first position, Rs.03 lakh for the second position and Rs.02 lakh for the third position.
