Financial assistance of Rs. 04 lakhs has been sanctioned to the families of the deceased.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep grief over the death of Mrs. Shanti Mandavi, who was injured during the Kabaddi competition at Manjhiborand in Makdi on October 14, while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Raipur today. Expressing condolences to the family members of Smt. Shanti Mandavi, he has sanctioned financial assistance of Rs.4 lakh to the families of the deceased. The Chief Minister has given instructions to the officers to provide assistance to the families of the deceased.
It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Shanti Mandavi, a resident of village Manjhiborand of Makdi block, husband Mr. Umesh Mandavi was injured on Friday during the Kabaddi competition. From where he was referred to a private hospital in Raipur for high-level treatment when the situation was not normal after first aid at Makdi Community Center. where he died during treatment. During this, the district administration officials reached the home village of the deceased woman and consoled the bereaved family members.
